| dc.description | En la presente unidad didáctica se hace referencia a todas las características de la cultura Kayambi tales como: situación geográfica, económica, características culturales, líderes indígenas, organización sociopolítica para rescatar esta cultura frente a la globalización, mediante el estudio de sus raíces culturales y así futuras generaciones las mantengan vivas con altivez y orgullo.
La cultura Kayambi se encuentra en la parte norte de la provincia de Pichincha y sur de la provincia de Imbabura, su principal actividad económica en la actualidad es la actividad agrícola, florícola, ganadera y artesanal, mantiene vivas sus prácticas culturales a través del inti raymi que es el agradecimiento a la madre tierra por sus cosechas, el legado que han dejado sus líderes indígenas como Tránsito Amaguña, Dolores Cacuango y Jesús Gualavisí , para ser reconocidos en igualdad de derechos económicos, sociales y políticos, que hoy en día tenemos representaciones políticas en el gobierno cantonal del partido político Pachacutik | |
| dc.description | In this didactic unit we reference to all the characteristics of the Kayambi culture such as: geographical, economic situation, cultural characteristics, indigenous leaders, sociopolitical organization to rescue this culture opposite of the globalization, through studying its cultural roots and thus future generations keep them alive with pride.
