| dc.description | El presente estudio se realizó con muestras representativas de semilla de trigo, en las variedades: Atacazo, Antizana, Chimborazo y Romero, obtenidas de las unidades de certificación, que la Empresa Mixta de Semillas inscribió en las provincias de Pichincha e Imbabura, para las categorías Registrada y Certificada, mientras que, la semilla categoría básica se extrajo de las unidades de certificación inscritas por INIAP.
En las variedades mencionadas la evaluación cualitativa de semillas se realizó en el laboratorio de análisis de semillas del Ministerio de Agricultura y Ganadería, mediante pruebas de pureza, germinación y determinaciones de humedad y peso hectolítrico. | |
| dc.description | The present study 'was carried out with representative samples of the following varieties of wheat seeds: Atacazo, Antizana, Chimborazo and Romero, These samples were obtained form the certification units inscribed by the Empresa Mixta de Semillas as certified and registered seed in the provinces of Pichincha and Irnbabura, The category of basic seed came from the certification units inscribed by INIAP.
The .quantitative evaluation was made in the MAG seed analysis laboratory by tests of purity5 germination, moisture and hectolitic weight. Strength was studied in the Experimental Station ’’Santa Catalina” by the test called "velocity of emergency”. The health of the seed was tested in the laboratory of fitopatology and the identification .of deseases transmited by seed was made in the greenhouse. | |
