dc.description.abstractThis Curricular Integration Work presents the objective of implementing a data acquisition module for industrial machines through a PLC via Ethernet connection. The portable module is considered as a safe, reliable and easy to use alternative which allows to acquire operating data from most industrial machines that work with electrical energy, to monitor their status during operation and identify possible faults in its operation and in turn improve the availability of the machine. For the equipment selection, the compatibility between the devices and the software was taken into account. For this purpose, SIEMENS equipment was acquired, which will be programmed using the TIA Portal software developed by the same brand. An electrical energy analyzer SENTRON PAC3200 was acquired, which allows the measurement and visualization of electrical variables such as: voltage, current, power, power factor, which are considered important for the analysis of equipment operation. The PLC S7-1200 AC/DC/RLY was the most viable option because it provides a high level of processing and data storage, as well as its price. The DF ROBOT TS01 sensor due to its easy assembly and its temperature sensing capability and operating range is ideally used on any type of surface. Through the web server the electrical and temperature variables will be downloaded and obtained in real time in an EXCEL file. This whole process allows to monitor those machines that do not have the appropriate technology and without the need to make modifications to it. It is recommended to work together with the operation manual to avoid a bad manipulation of the data acquisition module.
