| dc.description | El presente trabajo de investigación se realizó con la finalidad de crear un arreglo del
tema inédito “Extrañar” utilizando los recursos musicales del arreglo “In My Room” de Jacob
Collier, tema original de Brian Wilson.
Esta investigación cuenta con un enfoque cualitativo y alcance descriptivo pues, se basó
en la recolección de datos a través de la observación y audición de transcripciones, grabaciones
y entrevistas a Jacob Collier para su posterior análisis. Se seleccionaron los recursos musicales
característicos del arreglo del tema “In My Room” de Collier para su aplicación en la creación
del arreglo del tema inédito. Además, se analizó la primera propuesta del tema inédito
“Extrañar” y se contrastó con el arreglo, de esta manera se comprobó que se alcanzó la estética
sonora deseada.
Se demostró que para el incremento del lenguaje musical individual es necesario el
análisis de obras musicales con sonoridades distintiva. Así al seleccionar e integrar los distintos
recursos musicales en la obra propia se logra un desarrollo de la identidad musical individual. | |
| dc.description | This research work was carried out with the purpose of creating an arrangement of the
unpublished song "Extrañar" using the musical resources of the arrangement "In My Room"
by Jacob Collier, an original song by Brian Wilson.
This research has a qualitative approach and descriptive scope because it was based on
data collection through observation and listening to transcriptions, recordings and interviews
with Jacob Collier for subsequent analysis. The musical resources characteristic of Collier's
arrangement of the song "In My Room" were selected for their application in the creation of
the arrangement of the unpublished song. In addition, the first proposal of the unpublished song
"Extrañar" was analyzed and contrasted with the arrangement, thus verifying that the desired
sound aesthetics were achieved.
It was demonstrated that the analysis of musical works with distinctive sonorities is
necessary for the increase of individual musical language. Thus, by selecting and integrating
different musical resources in one's own work, a development of individual musical identity is
