showed that the mean pain of all students at the beginning was 6 (moderate), while at
the end of the treatment it was 3 (mild); the measurements taken with the millimeter
ruler also showed an improvement in terms of mouth opening, with a mean of 47mm
at the beginning and 44mm at the end; the Krogh test showed that 71.5% of students
had more than three signs of dysfunction, obtaining a favorable result at the end of
the treatment, where the percentage decreased to 28%. Conclusion: It was evidenced
that the pain and the functional condition of the temporomandibular joint, by means
of the orthopedic manual therapy treatment, obtained a relevant improvement.
