| dc.description | Introducción: La Bartolinitis consta como una de las afecciones de vulva más frecuentes en mujeres en edad reproductiva, alrededor del 2% de las mujeres en algún momento de su vida presenta uno o varios episodios de Bartolinitis. Objetivo: Determinar la prevalencia de recidiva de Bartolinitis en pacientes sometidas a
marsupialización de glándulas de Bartolino en mujeres de 20-50 años en el HOSNAG en el periodo de 2015-2020.Metodología: Estudio tipo observacional de carácter retrospectivo, transversal, descriptivo, utilizando las historias clínicas del Hospital Naval de Guayaquil durante el periodo 2015–2020.El estudio contó con una población de 107 pacientes que cumplían con los criterios de inclusión y exclusión. Resultados: En el 69,2% de los casos existió recidiva posterior a la marsupialización dejando al 30,8% restante, como casos donde no hubo recidiva de esta patología posterior a la técnica. La media de edad fue de 27 años. El 45,8% de la muestra no presento enfermedad de transmisión sexual y los casos que sí tuvieron este antecedente
fue en su mayoría por EPI con 29,9% y VPH con el 19,6%. El 82,2% de los casos era sexualmente activo. El 75,7% fueron Abscesos y el ,3% restante Quistes. Conclusión: La prevalencia de recidivas de Bartolinitis posterior a marsupialización fue de 69,2%, se presentan más los abscesos que los quistes y cuenta con factores clínicos altamente relevantes. | |
| dc.description | Introduction: Bartholinitis is one of the most frequent vulvar affections in women of reproductive age, around 2% of women at some point in their life have one or more episodes of Bartholinitis. Objective: To determine the prevalence of Bartholinitis relapse in patients undergoing Bartholin gland marsupialization in women aged 20-50 years at HOSNAG in the period 2015-2020. Methodology: Prevalence, observational, retrospective, cross-sectional, descriptive study, using the clinical records registered in the statistical system of the Hospital Naval de Guayaquil during the period 2015- 2020. The study had a population of 107 patients who met the criteria of inclusion and exclusion. Results: In 69.2% of the cases there was recurrence after marsupialization,
leaving the remaining 30.8% as cases where there was no recurrence of this pathology after the technique. The mean age was 27 years, 45.8% of the sample did not present a sexually transmitted disease and the cases that did have this history were mostly due to PID with 29.9% and HPV with 19.6%, 82.2% of the cases were sexually active, 75.7% were abscesses and the remaining 3% were cysts. Conclusion: The prevalence
of relapses of Bartholinitis after marsupialization is high, there are more abscesses than cysts and it has highly relevant clinical factors. | |
