| dc.description | Introducción: El aclaramiento dental es probablemente el procedimiento más
rentable y menos invasivo para mejorar la estética dental, implica la aplicación
de un agente oxidante con el propósito de eliminar manchas que producen color
o cromógenos dentro del diente. El aclaramiento dental tiene diversos efectos
secundarios, entre ellos se encuentran efectos adversos sobre la dureza y
aspereza del esmalte, sensibilidad, irritación de mucosa y la pérdida de
adhesión. Objetivo: Determinar los factores que influyen en la adhesión sobre
el tejido dentario luego de un aclaramiento. Materiales y métodos: El presente
artículo un estudio transversal de revisión sistemática, en base a una muestra
bibliográfica retrospectiva, es de tipo descriptivo y analítico. Resultados: Se
analizaron 5 aspectos asociados al aclaramiento dental, su interacción con la
estructura dental y amortiguación de efectos adversos. Conclusión: la fuerza de
unión se ve afectada debido al oxígeno residual que se encuentra en el sustrato
dental, es ideal esperar mínimo 7 días para realizar el protocolo adhesivo, se
puede optar por el uso de antioxidantes para reducir este tiempo de espera. | |
| dc.description | Abstract: Dental bleaching is probably the most cost-effective and least invasive
procedure to improve dental aesthetics, it involves the application of an oxidizing
agent in order to eliminate stains that produce color inside the tooth. Dental
bleaching has several side effects, including adverse effects on the hardness and
roughness of the enamel, sensitivity, mucosal irritation and loss of adhesion.
Objective: To determine the factors that influence adhesion on the dentary tissue
after tooth bleaching. Materials and methods: This article, a cross-sectional
study of systematic review, based on a retrospective bibliographic sample, is
descriptive and analytical. Results: 5 aspects associated with dental whitening
were analyzed, its interaction with dental structure and avoiding of adverse
effects. Conclusion: bonding strength is affected due to the residual oxygen
found in the dental substrate, it is ideal to wait at least 7 days to perform the
adhesive protocol, dentists can opt for the use of antioxidants to reduce this
waiting time. | |
