dc.description | El presente estudio investiga el impacto que tuvo el COVID-19 en los hábitos alimentarios dentro de la población de la parroquia la Aurora, cantón Daule, antes y durante la pandemia; con una encuesta de frecuencia de consumo de alimentos. El estudio se conformó por 84 individuos, donde el 73,8% correspondiente a 62 encuestados fueron mujeres y el 26,2% (22 individuos) represento a hombres. La encuesta de frecuencia de consumo estuvo subdividida en 7 grupos de alimentos (1Lacteos, 2Huevos, carne y pescado, 3Verduras y legumbres, 4Frutas, 5Panes y cereales, 6Aceites, grasas y dulces, 7Bebidas), también se realizó preguntas de información de variables económicas, seguridad alimentaria, signos y síntomas nutricionales, actividad física y otros. Se trata de un estudio descriptivo, transversal y comparativo. La cual valoró y observó si ante una emergencia sanitaria se descuida mucho la salud dado a una mala alimentación o dado al tiempo que ahora poseen de estar en casa logran una mejor alimentación. Los resultados de la investigación mostraron los cambios nutricionales significativos que acarrea la emergencia a los pobladores de la ciudadela Santa María de Casa Grande en la parroquia la Aurora. | |
dc.description | This study investigates the impact that COVID-19 had on eating habits within the population of La Aurora parish, Daule canton, before and during the pandemic, with a food consumption frequency survey. The study was made up of 84 individuals, where 73.8% corresponding to 62 respondents were women and 26.2% (22 individuals) represented men. The consumption frequency survey was subdivided into 7 food groups (1 Dairy, 2 Eggs, meat and fish, 3 Vegetables and legumes, 4 Fruits, 5 Breads and cereals, 6 Oils, fats and sweets, 7 Beverages), questions were also asked for information on economic variables, food safety, nutritional signs and symptoms, physical activity and others. It´s a descriptive, cross-sectional, and comparative study. Which valued and seen if in the face of a health emergency health is neglected due to poor nutrition or given the time, they now must be at home they achieve a better diet. The results of the research showed the significant nutritional changes that the emergency brings to the inhabitants of the Santa María de Casa Grande in the Aurora parish. | |
