dc.descriptionThe appearance of new media to inform has caused that in several occasions people come to doubt the news events that consume through social networks. For this reason, citizen journalism was born, through which a micro-analysis was carried out on the criteria and the perception that citizens have of the news events they read on the twitter account 'TESTIGO MÓVIL' belonging to DIARIO EL UNIVERSO, the media of written communication with greater influence in Ecuador. A fieldwork was carried out with 100 people who travel through the commercial center of Guayaquil, taking into account their knowledge in the aforementioned twitter account and based on a mixed approach methodology, under descriptive and explanatory typology supported by techniques such as the survey, which served to measure some indicators of the study………..
dc.descriptionLa aparición de nuevos medios para informarse ha ocasionado que en varias ocasiones las personas lleguen a dudar de los hechos noticiosos que consumen a través de las redes sociales. Por este motivo, nace el periodismo ciudadano por el cual se realizó un micro análisis sobre el criterio y la percepción que tiene la ciudadanía de los hechos noticiosos que leen en la cuenta de twitter ‘TESTIGO MÓVIL’ que pertenece a DIARIO EL UNIVERSO, el medio de comunicación escrita con mayor influencia en Ecuador. Se realizó un trabajo de campo con 100 personas que transitan por el casco comercial de Guayaquil, tomando en consideración su conocimiento en la cuenta de twitter antes mencionada y basados en una metodología de enfoque mixto, bajo tipología descriptiva y explicativa apoyado en técnicas como la encuesta que sirvieron para medir algunos indicadores del estudio………
