| dc.description | This project emphasizes the theme "Lifting geological-structural sectors 3 and 4 Zone 5 of the city limits of the city of Loja to scale 1:5000 to determine the susceptibility of the ground." These sectors are considered representative of Loja in the basin due to the presence of: type sedimentary geological formations, significant structures, productive activities, mass movements and critical infrastructure in the area.
The studies of topography, geology, structural geomorphology, land use and precipitation classification methods, allowed to know the surface area under study, using the characterization of formations, geological structures, evaluation of physical properties of rocks, features relevant surface slopes (morphology) of the sectors studied. Finally, determines land use, the influence of precipitation and sets the rock mass quality by RMR.
Based on all information obtained supplemented by mineralogical analysis, understanding, simple, density and clay content. The thesis is a contribution to evaluate the susceptibility of the land to the existence of mass movements. | |
| dc.description | El presente proyecto enfatiza el tema “Levantamiento geológico-estructural de los sectores 3 y 4 de la zona 5 del límite urbano de la ciudad de Loja a escala 1: 5000 para determinar la susceptibilidad del terreno”. Se considera estos sectores representativos en la hoya de Loja debido a la presencia de: formaciones geológicas de tipo sedimentaria, estructuras significativas, actividades productivas, movimientos en masa e infraestructuras importantes en la zona.
Los estudios realizados de topografía, geología-estructural, geomorfología, uso de suelo, clasificación geomecánica y precipitación, permitieron conocer la superficie del área en estudio, mediante la caracterización de formaciones, estructuras geológicas, evaluación de propiedades físicas de las rocas, características de la superficie y taludes relevantes (morfología) de los sectores estudiados. Finalmente se determina el uso de suelo, la influencia de precipitación y se establece la calidad del macizo rocoso mediante la clasificación RMR.
En base a toda la información obtenida complementados con los análisis mineralógicos, comprensión simple, densidad y contenido de arcillas. La tesis constituye una contribución para evaluar la susceptibilidad del terreno a la existencia de movimientos en masa. | |
