| dc.description | Este trabalho expõe os resultados de um estudo acerca de como a história da matemática, em sua dimensão pedagógica, pode auxiliar os alunos e até mesmo os professores a compreenderem melhor a matemática. Toma-se como referenciais teóricos os Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais (PCNs), livros e periódicos que tratam do assunto, livros didáticos e entrevistas com professores dos ensinos Fundamental, Médio e Superior. Assim, o estudo se desdobra em três direções: fundamentação teórica com leituras que possibilitem o alcance do objetivo, análise de livros didáticos através da categorização das diferentes formas utilizadas pelos autores para abordarem a história da matemática e utilização da história oral, através de entrevistas com professores de matemática que utilizam a história da matemática como ferramenta ou recurso para auxiliar na aprendizagem ou, ainda, para ilustrar suas aulas de forma a motivar os alunos à pesquisa e à problematização dos conteúdos. | |
| dc.description | This paper presents the results of a study on how the history of mathematics in its pedagogical dimension, can help students and even teachers to better understand the math. Take as theoretical NCPs (National Curriculum), books and periodicals on the subject, textbooks and interviews with teachers in elementary, middle and upper. Thus, the study unfolds in three directions: theoretical readings to enable the achievement of the objective analysis of textbooks through the categorization of the different forms used by the authors to address the history of mathematics and use of oral history through interviews with math teachers to use the history of mathematics as tool or resource to assist in learning and also to illustrate their lessons to motivate students to research and questioning of the content. | |
