dc.descriptionAt a global level, employment is not only the engine of a country's economy, but it is also a right that all citizens have and that directly affects the living conditions of the active population. Every human being has the right to a decent quality of life to be able to cover their needs, both physiological, security, affiliation, recognition and self-realization, for which it is considered important to analyze not only the generation of employment but also the quality of employment. existing in micro and small businesses in the Ecuadorian context. The objective of this research is to establish an index that is capable of measuring the quality of employment of micro and small companies, it will be structured by multiple determinants, such as: type of contract, working hours, social security and income level. The methodology to be used will be a synthetic index created by Stefano Farné that has served as the basis for different studies in the region. Finally, with all the variables established, with their respective weights, an econometric model will be established that will measure the quality of employment in micro and small companies in Ecuador.en-US
dc.descriptionA nivel mundial el empleo no solo es el motor de la economía de un país, además, es un derecho que tienen todos los ciudadanos y que afecta directamente las condiciones de vida de la población activa. Todo ser humano tiene derecho a una calidad de vida digna para poder cubrir sus necesidades, tanto fisiológicas, de seguridad, de afiliación, de reconocimiento y autorrealización, por lo que se considera importante analizar no solo la generación de empleo, sino también la calidad del empleo existente en las Micro y Pequeñas Empresas en el contexto ecuatoriano.  El objetivo de esta investigación es establecer un índice que sea capaz de medir la calidad del empleo de las Micro y Pequeñas Empresas. El mismo estará estructurado por múltiples determinantes, tales como: tipo de contrato, horas de trabajo, seguridad social y nivel de ingresos. La metodología a utilizar está asociada a un índice sintético creado por Stefano Farné que ha servido de base para diferentes estudios en la región. Finalmente, con todas las variables establecidas y con sus pesos respectivos se establecerá un modelo econométrico que medirá la calidad del empleo en las Micro y Pequeñas Empresas del Ecuador.es-ES
