dc.descriptionCrisis spaces or crisis of space? Our current era is strongly characterized by crises of significant gravity and urgency. Deep economic and political crises, pandemic wars, and social upheavals all have a direct impact on the wellbeing of people in their own homes as well as on the urban and territorial scales. A small sample of the numerous effects of these events includes changes in human mobility, the food system, labor market accessibility, and access to decent housing. The current issues display the urban and architectural context and raise concerns about the sociospatial, aesthetic, and technical approaches to take for defining public and private spaces. This issue calls for a reflection on the new or renewed frontiers of (i) the conceptualized, designed, and calculated spaces and buildings that reflect the complexity of contemporary living; (ii) the proposals for the management and planning of territory and cities focused on sustainability and resilience; and, finally, (iii) the cultural scenarios that depict the material and immaterial heritage of our contexts, essential components for bolstering local identity in these times.en-US
dc.description Espacios de crisis o crisis del espacio? El tiempo que atravesamos es caracterizado por crisis de relevante fuerza y urgencias. Pandemias, guerras, estallidos sociales así como profundas crisis económicas y políticas influencian directamente el equilibrio urbano y el bienestar del ser humano en los espacios domésticos así como en la escala urbana y territorial. Movilidad humana, sistema alimentar, así como acceso al mercado del trabajo y a una vivienda digna representan solo una parte del vasto abanico de consecuencias de estos eventos. Los acontecimientos típicos de estos tiempos marcan el escenario urbano y arquitectónico e interrogan sobre las soluciones técnicas, estéticas y socioespaciales que utilizaremos para moldear los espacios públicos y privados. Este número propone un momento de reflexión sobre las nuevas o renovadas fronteras de (i) los espacios pensados, diseñados, calculados que reflejan la complejidad del habitar contemporáneo; (ii) las propuestas de planificación y gestión del territorio y de las ciudades orientadas a la sostenibilidad y resiliencia; y, finalmente, (iii) los escenarios culturales que reflejan el patrimonio tangible e intangible de nuestros contextos, elementos cruciales para fortalecer la identidad local en esta época de cambios  es-ES
