dc.descriptionThis article presents the socio-territorial vulnerability index applied in 33 informal settlements of the District of Durán-Ecuador -This through a land registry applied in 2018 together with NGO TECHO-Ecuador. On the other hand, informal settlements are understood as neighborhoods formed by “8 or more grouped or contiguous families, where more than half of the families do not have property titles, in addition to not having access to two or more basic services, among them, water, electricity and/or sewerage system” (TECHO, n.d.). Furthermore, presents the characteristics concerning sanitation and basic services, land tenure and the neighborhood environment are presented. Ending with a discussion of the results obtained, and final considerations regarding the territorialization process of neighborhoods in Durán.en-US
dc.descriptionSe presenta un índice de vulnerabilidad socioterritorial aplicado en 33 asentamientos informalesdel Municipio de Durán-Ecuador, por medio de un catastro elaborado en 2018 junto con la Fundación TECHO-Ecuador. Se entiende por asentamientos informales alos ‘barrios’ compuestos por “8 o más familias agrupadas o contiguas, donde más de la mitad de las familias no tengan título de propiedad, además de no tener acceso a dos o más servicios básicos, entre ellos, agua potable, electricidad, y/o alcantarillado” (TECHO, s.f.)2. Además, se exponen las características en relación con saneamiento y servicios básicos, tenencia de la tierra y entorno de los barrios. Se concluye con una discusión sobre los resultados obtenidos y consideraciones finales en torno al proceso de territorialización de barrios en Durán.es-ES
