dc.description.abstractBacterial resistance has been studied since1989, whose studies mentioned or warned the possible consequence of having a poor animal breeding. Nowadays, about 70 percent of the medicine have been used in animal growth. In specific, antibiotics have been used to help animal breeding. In the beginning, were used to as a method of prophylaxis through time that medicine was used to promote animal growth. Its main objective is: identify some dietary characteristics, concerns, and beliefs that are related to the use of antibiotics in animal breeding in Tarqui. To collect data, a quantitative study was done. This study has an observational and descriptive approach. The participants of this study were 251 inhabitants from Tarqui with previous consent. It was applied to a web survey, through the platform Kobo Toolbox. The analysis of the information obtained was through the platform Epidat. The results are showed in tables of contingency using frequency and percentages. The result obtained in this study showed that 74.11% do not have a particular diet. The 70.88% does not know about great well-being meat. The most consumed kind of meat is chicken, with 98.85% of consumers. The 80% of inhabitants are worried about a possible pandemic in farms. The 36,06 agree in the use of antibiotics in animal growth. Finally, the 52.87 believes that the government is the organization that should deal with this issue. This study demonstrates that a few people tend to buy great well-being meat. In addition, chicken it is the most consumed protein. Finally, it is proposed that government is the institution that can supervise or restrict the use of antibiotics indiscriminately.
