dc.description.abstractIn the present investigation, the performance evaluation is carried out in the process of charging and discharging a lithium battery for the charges of a residential building with 10 apartments, through an experimental process and simulations in Simulink. The power supply to residential loads during peak hours, is represented in the experimental phase and in the simulations, by battery discharge with a dynamic load in simultaneous operation; while residential energy storage is emulated by charging the lithium battery, in the Balzay Micro grid laboratory in the city of Cuenca. The test scenarios of the charge and discharge performance of the lithium battery are obtained from the analysis of the demand of the residential building during peak hours in the morning, afternoon and night, for days: working days, non-working days and with induction cooker days.
