The way of living in a home was strongly altered as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic in the year 2020, since this required a mandatory quarantine that highlighted the deficiencies in homes with little resilience to this type of situations, being even more evident in multifamily residences, where the minimum space, lack of recreation and adaptability became limiting at the time of overcoming the pandemic affecting its inhabitants not only physically but also in the psychological aspect. Nowadays, for a correct habitability, it is imperative that each resident has the possibility of developing all the skills required within their home, whether this is during a situation similar to the one faced in 2020 or simply to modernize the way of conceiving the minimum housing. In this context, this research exposes which were the main deficiencies evidenced in multifamily housing, as well as the proposal of dynamic and flexible spaces within an apartment to make it adaptable for situations such as those faced during the quarantine period, in addition to the implementation of flexible furniture that contributes with this adaptability of spaces, in order to improve the comfort of the users of an apartment today
