dc.description.abstractEmotional intelligence is capable of recognizing, understanding, and regulating our own emotions and other people's emotions. In the education field, it's important because it helps students manage emotional situations, establish healthy relationships, and have better academic development. On the other hand, academic satisfaction is the subjective perception of the students about their educational experience. For this reason, the hereby investigated with a quantitative focus and a correlational scope has been established as a general objective to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and academic satisfaction of the Business Administration career of Cuenca University students in the period of 2022–2023. The studied population consists of 40 students of the 3rd college year of the Business Administration. The recollection of data obtained from the application of the Wong-Law Emotional Intelligence Scale (WLEIS-S) and the Academic Satisfaction Scale (ESA). The results obtained point that there exists a positive correlation between emotional intelligence and academic satisfaction. Besides, it has been obtained that the academic satisfaction level of the students is at a medium-high.
