| dc.description | This research paper determines the productivity of the Ecuadorian manufacturing sector during the period 2000-2017, by measuring the factors of capital and labor production, for which it works with data obtained from official sources such as the Central Bank of Ecuador and the National Institute of Statistics and Census, and through the statistical program Eviews, the data is processed using the Solow residue that starts from a Cobb-Douglas production function, the results indicate that the Capital and labor factors are indispensable for the manufacturing industry, also notes the great importance of this sector in the economy of Ecuador.
The research structure is elaborated by chapters, there is an introduction; Chapter I, includes the problem statement and the objectives of the investigation. Chapter II, shows a state of the art that evidences the theoretical foundation of the variables. Chapter III reflects the research methodology. Chapter IV, is composed of the analysis and discussion of the results obtained and to conclude with conclusions and recommendations of the research process. | |
| dc.description | El presente trabajo de investigación determina la productividad del sector manufacturero ecuatoriano durante el período 2000-2017, mediante la medición de los factores de producción capital y trabajo, para lo cual se trabaja con datos obtenidos en fuentes oficiales como Banco Central del Ecuador e Instituto Nacional de Estadísticas y Censos, y a través del programa estadístico Eviews, se procesan los datos utilizando el residuo de Solow que parte de una función de producción Cobb-Douglas, los resultados indican que los factores Capital y trabajo son indispensables para la industria manufacturera, también se observa la gran importancia de este sector en la economía del Ecuador.
La estructura de la investigación se encuentra elaborada por capítulos, se tiene una introducción; el capítulo I, comprende el planteamiento del problema y los objetivo de la investigación. Capítulo II, muestra un estado del arte que evidencia la fundamentación teórica de las variables. Capítulo III, refleja la metodología de la investigación. Capítulo IV, está
compuesta del análisis y discusión de los resultados obtenidos y para finalizar con conclusiones y recomendaciones del proceso investigativo. | |
