dc.descriptionThe research project “LEXICAL APPROACH METHOD TO IMPROVE THE SPEAKING SKILL OF 7TH YEAR STUDENTS AT ISIDRO AYORA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN LATACUNGA- COTOPAXI PROVINCE DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR 2020-2021“. Which Main objective was to evaluate the effectiveness of Lexical Approach strategies in English-speaking skill improvement. This research applied a quali-quantitive approach since the results were measured qualitative and quantitative obtaining the final numeric results statistically. The type of research is considered quasi-experimental since the pre- test and post-test were applied to determine the effectiveness of the project. The pre-test and post-test are the instruments that were used to measure the learning progress. The pre-test was taken at the beginning of the project and the post-test was taken at the end, after applying the proposal. To implement the project two groups of 40 students were chosen, the first group called the control group and the second the experimental group. Both groups belong to the seventh year at Isidro Ayora Elementary School. To verify the hypothesis, the T-test Students was applied which concludes that the use of Lexical Approach Strategies improve English Speaking skill successfully.
dc.descriptionEl proyecto de investigación “MÉTODO DE ENFOQUE LÉXICO PARA MEJORAR LA HABILIDAD DE HABLAR DE LOS ALUMNOS DE 7º AÑO DE LA ESCUELA PRIMARIA ISIDRO AYORA DE LATACUNGA- PROVINCIA DE COTOPAXI DURANTE EL CURSO ESCOLAR 2020-2021“. El objetivo principal fue evaluar la eficacia de las estrategias del enfoque léxico en la mejora de las habilidades de habla inglesa. Esta investigación aplicó un enfoque cuali- cuantitativo ya que los resultados se midieron cualitativa y cuantitativamente obteniendo los resultados numéricos finales estadísticamente. El tipo de investigación se considera cuasi-experimental ya que se aplicó una prueba previa y una prueba posterior para determinar la efectividad del proyecto. La prueba previa y posterior son los instrumentos que se utilizaron para medir el progreso del aprendizaje. El pre-test se realizó al inicio del proyecto y el post-test al final, después de aplicar la propuesta. Para implementar el proyecto se eligieron dos grupos de 40 estudiantes, el primer grupo denominado grupo de control y el segundo grupo experimental. Ambos grupos pertenecen al séptimo año de Educación Básica de la escuela Isidro Ayora. Para verificar la hipótesis se aplicó el T-test Student que concluye que el uso de Estrategias de Enfoque Léxico mejora con éxito la habilidad de hablar inglés.
