| dc.description | The present research aims to conduct a study about the selection processes of aspiring teachers in the Latacunga Cantón, which allows to know closely the actuallity that they must assume to obtain a quota of admission to teaching careers, such as a contribution to the study of the Career of Basic Education at Technical University of Cotopaxi. This research has been carried out through a survey at teachers in active service of Latacunga Cantón, which also focuses on students who have aspirations to practice the profession of educators, so that they can orient themselves and assume with responsibility the arduous task of educating. Through the bibliographical consultation of different authors, mainly of Idalberto Chiavenato on how the processes of selection of staff are carried out, the tests that are applied and which should be the ideal profiles according to the requirement of the situation. Subsequently the bibliographic record and the survey were applied as instruments of data collection, through the scientific and deductive methodology. The instrument was applied to the sample extracted from the teachers of Latacunga Cantón whose results allow to evidence of different points of view, which are mostly positive, but at the same time show certain shortcomings that can be seen in the statistical graphs of the present research, Generally found opposition to whether a body should choose the career to be pursued by students, 89% considered this question to be negative, arguing that students should choose careers by their affinity to strengthen learning ties to avoid dropout in the future. With the present investigation it is expected to contribute, that the selection processes must be established according to the parameters in force, with priority to inclusion. | |
| dc.description | El presente trabajo investigativo tiene como finalidad realizar un estudio acerca de los procesos de selección de los aspirantes a docentes en el Cantón Latacunga, que permitan conocer de cerca la realidad que los aspirantes deben asumir para obtener un cupo de ingreso a las carreras de docentes, como un aporte al estudio de la Carrera de Educación Básica de la Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi. Este estudio se realizó a través de una encuesta a los docentes en servicio activo del Cantón Latacunga, que también se enfoca a los estudiantes que tienen aspiraciones a ejercer la profesión de educadores, para que puedan orientarse y asumir con responsabilidad la ardua tarea de educar. A través de la consulta bibliográfica de diferentes autores, principalmente de Idalberto Chiavenato sobre cómo se efectúan los procesos de selección de personal, las pruebas que se aplican y cuáles deben ser los perfiles idóneos según el requerimiento de la situación. Posteriormente se aplicó como instrumentos de recolección de información la ficha bibliográfica y la encuesta, a través de la metodología científica y deductiva. El instrumento fue aplicado a la muestra extraída de los docentes del Cantón Latacunga, cuyos resultados permiten evidenciar distintos puntos de vista, que en su mayoría son positivos, pero al mismo tiempo demuestran ciertas falencias que se pueden apreciar en los gráficos estadísticos del presente trabajo, generalmente se encontró una oposición sobre si un organismo debe elegir la carrera a seguir por los estudiantes, el 89 % consideró como negativa esta pregunta, argumentando que los estudiantes deben escoger las carreras por su afinidad para fortalecer los lazos de aprendizaje para evitar la deserción en el futuro. Con la presente investigación se espera aportar, que los procesos de selección deben ser establecidos conforme los parámetros vigentes, con prioridad a la inclusión. | |
