| dc.description | The present investigation was made to diagnose the consumption of food in the fattening stage of male and female cuyes in the Experimental and Production Center Salache (CEYPSA). The aims of itself were the identification of animals, groups in relation to similar phenotypic characteristics and the data collection to determine the consumption of food by each of the stablished groups, permitting to determine the improved animals related to each of the defined characteristics. In consequence, took place the aretaeus of all animals was held and their respective codification; then, the chose by each of the presented characteristics of the animals was done, and they were grouped by their similarity for after continuing with the weighing of supplied food and later consumption of it, the residue is determined and the consumption results of food are obtained. | |
| dc.description | La presente investigación fue realizada para diagnosticar el consumo de alimento en la etapa de engorde de cuyes machos y hembras en el Centro Experimental y Producción Salache (CEYPSA). Los objetivos de la misma era la identificación de los animales, agrupación en relación a características fenotípicas similares y la recolección de datos para determinar el consumo de alimento por cada uno de los grupos establecidos permitiendo determinar los animales mejorados en relación a cada una de las características definidas. En consecuencias de lo anterior se realizó el Areteo de todos los animales y su respectiva codificación, luego se procedió a la selección por cada una de las características presentadas por los animales y se agrupó por su similitud para luego proceder con el pesaje del alimento suministro y posterior consumo del mismo se determina el residuo y obtener los resultados de consumo de alimento. Los datos obtenidos fueron evaluados en base seca y estos nos permitieron determinar 36 cuyes mejoradores en relación al consumo. | |
