| dc.description | La idea de llevar a cabo un proyecto educativo con niños y niñas entre 1 y 5 años no solo porque pertenecen a grupos de atención prioritaria sino porque se merecen una educación de calidad pudiera parecer una tarea compleja cuando no se cuenta con recursos económicos; pero si con una carga de valores que motivan a hacer realidad este tipo de proyectos, lo que representa uno de los propósitos de la Asociación Civil Venezolanos en Ecuador (ACVE) a través del Centro de Desarrollo Infantil Salto Ángel. Esta iniciativa nace de la necesidad de disminuir la presencia de infantes en las calles y semáforos de la ciudad, contribuir con los padres que buscan el sustento en la economía informal y especialmente erradicar la mendicidad infantil. Este proyecto más allá del cumplimiento del currículo nacional de Educación Inicial tiene como prioridad el abordaje socioemocional de los estudiantes y sus familias, se apoya en un aprendizaje activo y participativo defendido por Montessori, socializado como plantea Vigotsky, significativo según Ausubel y especialmente atractivo, alegre y humanista como es nuestro propósito. El procesamiento de información se realizó a través de la observación y análisis de las conductas manifestadas en los niños y niñas que permanecían en las calles acompañando a sus padres, lo que permitió diseñar y ejecutar un plan de acción que convirtió en realidad un proyecto que parecía casi imposible de llevar a cabo. ABSTRACT: The idea of carrying out an educational project with boys and girls between 1 and 5 years of age, not only because they belong to priority care groups but because they deserve a quality education, could seem a complex task when there are no financial resources but rather a solid amount of values making this type of project a reality. This is what represents one of the purposes of Civil Association of Venezuelans in Ecuador (ACVE por sus siglas en Español) through the Salto Ángel Child Development Center. This initiative stems from the need to reduce the presence of infants on the streets, to contribute to their parents seeking sustenance in the informal economy, and especially to eradicate child begging. This project, beyond the fulfillment of the national curriculum of Initial Education, has as a priority the socio-emotional approach of the students and their families; it is supported by active and participatory learning defended by Montessori, socialized as Vigotsky posits, significant according to Ausubel and especially attractive, cheerful and humanistic as is our purpose. The information processing was carried out through the observation and analysis of the behaviors manifested in the children who remained in the streets accompanying their parents, which allowed the design and execution of an action plan that turned into reality a project that seemed almost impossible to carry out.
