| dc.description | Los predictores estudiados en esta investigación se centran en el género, las actitudes de rol de género y el nivel educativo. Para analizar estos factores, se seleccionaron 1143 estudiantes de edades comprendidas entre 14 y 25 años que pertenecían a distintos centros de enseñanza de la localidad ambateña, a los cuales se les suministró un cuestionario para medir las creencias relacionadas con la violencia de género, la violencia percibida en los últimos meses, y la opinión sobre las causas y sugerencias ante la violencia. Los resultados indicaron que tanto las personas de género masculino, como el alumnado de bachillerato, presentan actitudes y creencias menos críticas hacia esta forma de violencia, a la vez que discrepan sobre los motivos y soluciones ante este problema. In order to analyze these factors, 1143 students between the ages of 14 and 25 were selected from different educational centers in Ambato to received a questionary based in size up the beliefs implicated in the gender- based violence, the violence perceived in the last months and their opinions about the causes of violence and suggestions against it. The results showed that the male students, as well as the high school students have attitudes and beliefs less critical to this type of violence and, at the same time, disagree on the causes and solutions facing this problem.
