| dc.description | Knowledge about the diet of most Neotropical bucconids is still deficient, and this information could be relevant to develop conservation strategies.We present a note on depredation behaviour of Moustached Puffbird Malacoptila mystacalis, including photographic evidence of the swallowing process of a lizard of the genus Anadia. New records of the presence of this species in northwest Ecuador are also presented. This brief note contributes to our knowledge about the diet and distribution of this species in Ecuador. | en-US |
