dc.descriptionThe following text is the scriptural trace of a performative act, created in 2019, in which I track the origin of cumbia as a song of resistance and its permanence in forms of existence that update ancestral memories that are danced in the street. In the text I resort to sung, written, danced, and whispered voices, all of them stolen, to invoke circles of collective recognition, from liberation, enjoyment, and dance. As a part of this trace, I include a selection of songs to make the reader dance while reading.en-US
dc.descriptionEl siguiente texto es la huella escritural de un performance creado en 2019, en el que rastreo el origen de la cumbia como canto de resistencia y su adaptación en formas de existencia que actualizan las memorias ancestrales para bailar en la calle. En el texto acudo a voces cantadas, escritas, bailadas y susurradas, todas ellas robadas, que invocan círculos de reconocimiento colectivo, a través de la liberación, el goce y el baile. Parte de esta huella son enlaces a una selección de cantos que la acompañan para hacer bailar al lector mientras lee.es-ES
