dc.descriptionMand/inga is an artistic research project that consists of creating a film from work with personal files and family stories, reviewing different documents of family scenes -objects, photos, dialogues, etc.-. In the process, we have reconstructed a series of short stories and descriptions that resonate with each other, and through which we can glimpse our common threads regarding issues such as religion, spirituality, gender, and migration. What we present as a film is, in fact, a temporary instantiation of an insistent re-creation of our memories and reflections. By continuously re-presenting the different situations in the space of an imagined film, we open a process of constant restructuring of our narrations. The text flirts with elements of autoethnography and self-theory, as well as formal experimentation inspired by feminist experimental cinema. We see it as a way of researching our possible ways of appearing as queer, colored, and migrant bodies, both politically and on a screen.en-US
dc.descriptionMand/inga es un proyecto de investigación artística que consiste en crear una película a partir del trabajo con archivos personales e historias familiares, revisando diferentes documentos de escenas familiares -objetos, fotos, diálogos, etc.- . En el proceso, hemos reconstruido una serie de relatos y descripciones breves que resuenan entre sí y a través de los cuales podemos vislumbrar nuestros hilos conductores en relación con temas como religión, espiritualidad, género y migración. Lo que presentamos como una película es, de hecho, una instanciación temporal de una insistente re-creación de nuestros recuerdos y reflexiones. Al re-presentar continuamente las diferentes situaciones en el espacio de una película imaginada, abrimos un proceso de constante re-estructuración de nuestras narraciones. El texto coquetea con elementos de la autoetnografía y la autoteoría, así como con una experimentación formal inspirada en el cine experimental feminista. Nosotros lo vemos como una manera de investigar nuestras posibles formas de aparecer como cuerpos cuir, de color y migrantes, tanto políticamente como en una pantalla.es-ES
