dc.descriptionHistoriography has allowed to diminish the writing and narration of women’s works throughout Latin American independence to the point of distorting their true purpose. The implications of a poorly researched or censored social science include perpetuating negligent standards. Through them, the mass reproduction of gender roles and stereotypes is not only confined to a misogynistic past but also continues in an ill-informed present. Today there are evident ruptures amongst sisterhood and social protest is constantly delegitimized, partly caused by a historiography biased in favor of female prudence and rectitude, causing a disconnection between privileged women and intersectional feminism.en-US
dc.descriptionLa historiografía ha propiciado que merme la redacción y narración de la obra femenina en el proceso de independencia de Latinoamérica, al punto de tergiversar su verdadero propósito. Una ciencia social mal investigada o censurada implica perpetuar estándares negligentes. Con ellos, la reproducción masiva de roles de género y estereotipos no solo queda relegada a un pasado misógino, sino que también continúa en un presente malinformado. Todavía hoy se contemplan rupturas en la sororidad y se deslegitima la protesta social, en parte ocasionadas por una historiografía sesgada en favor de la prudencia y rectitud femenina, que genera un desligue entre mujeres privilegiadas y feminismo interseccional.es-ES
