| dc.description | Over the years, civilizations have developed through knowledge and reason, what led to great civilizations to understand the world. This is where the places that store these documents, libraries, come to form an important part of the city. Architecture has been part of this development by seeking to make them capable of hosting activities: research and interaction, as well as the generation of culture
The knowledge and reason have been and will be determining factors for the development of civilizations. However, discoveries through time generate new concepts of operation and the concept of libraries.
What is a library? The concept is a response to the importance given to knowledge. Generating a place where it can be used as sites for storage, systematization and preservation. These institutions are an important part in the development of cities,
The development of these institutions as a figure refers to the relationship between the shape of the building and the relationship with the city. A figure that exists in a determinated space and the interrelationship that generates with the other elements.
Through the object called library it would be considered as a place capable develop more than a simple building, this object would be an important element in the city, a place that would be conformed through and become a public space. | |
| dc.description | A través de los años las civilizaciones se han desarrollado mediante el conocimiento y la razón; el razosinio ha llevado a grandes civilizaciones a comprender el mundo. Es aquí donde los lugares que almacenan estos documentos, las bibliotecas, vienen a formar una pieza importante de la ciudad. La arquitectura ha formado parte del desarrollo buscando hacer de ellos espacios capaces de albergar actividades tanto de estudio como de interacción; así como la generación de un símbolo que refleja la cultura y el conocimiento de ciudades.
El conocimiento y la razón han sido y serán factores determinantes para el desarrollo de los pueblos. Sin embargo, los descubrimientos de cada época se vuelven elementos generadores de nuevos conceptos sobre el funcionamiento y el concepto de las bibliotecas.
¿Qué es una biblioteca? Su concepto surge como respuesta hacia la importancia que el hombre otorga al conocimiento a través de sitios destinados al almacenamiento, sistematización y preservación del conocimiento universal. Estas instituciones forman una pieza importante en el desarrollo de las ciudades que, por su particularidad de ser pública pretende conformar un simbolismo que represente la cultura y el conocimiento.
El desarrollo de estas instituciones como una figura se refiere a la relación entre la forma de la edificación y la relación con el medio. Siendo la figura aquel elemento que existe en un espacio destacándose en su interrelación con otros elementos, y su fondo como aquello que es parte del campo que contiene los elementos interrelacionados que sostienen a la figura.
A través del objeto que será aquel que sea llamado biblioteca tendrá la particularidad de formar algo más que una pieza hermética, un espacio público. | |
