| dc.description | El siguiente artículo valora el concepto de “ethos barroco”, creado por el pensador ecuatoriano-mexicano Bolívar Echeverría (Riobamba, Ecuador, 1941-Ciudad de México, México, 5 de junio de 2010), tal como aparece en su libro titulado La modernidad de lo barroco (1998), desde una particular interpretación de la Teoría de los modos literarios, desarrollada por Northrop Frye, en su libro Anatomía de la crítica (1991), y reinterpretada por Hayden White en parte de su libro titulado Metahistoria (1998). Tal ejercicio responde a la posibilidad de leer la propuesta de Echeverría como un modelo de interpretación de toda la historia de Occidente, denominado “ethos histórico”. | es-ES |
