The main objective of this project is to determine the relationship between body dysmorphic between body dysmorphic and the use of social networks. The population consisted of young students between 18 and 25 years of age from the Girón sector in the northern area of the city of Quito, the sample size was estimated at 60 students The study was supported by a theoretical framework aimed at conceptualizing and investigating the relationship between the use of social networks and body dimorphism in young people. The study uses a quantitative correlation scale approach with a non-experimental, crosssectional design. Two instruments were used; Body Shape Questionnaire (Body Dysmorphic) and the ARS on the use of social networks. It was concluded that there is a very strong correlation between the two variables (body dysmorphic, social networks). There is a statistically significant association. Thus, there is reason to affirm that the greater the use of social networks, the greater the dissatisfaction with the body and the increase in this dissatisfaction, the lower the self-esteem and the greater the concern for the body self-esteem and greater concern about their appearance in adolescents aged 18- 25 in the Sector el Girón in northern Quito during the period 2022- 2023.
