In this research, a statistical analysis of the values obtained from the biaxial bending design for the different cases of proposed isolated foundations was performed, with the purpose of finding an equivalent percentage increase factor between the analyzed moments, which can be used to simplify the biaxial bending design procedure as a uniaxial bending case [1]. A dynamic seismic analysis was performed with a structural software, considering the representative values of the city of Quito, for a two-story building, estimated for the use of a single-family house configured as a portal frame structure with cambered beams, in order to obtain the axial loads and moments in two directions acting on the base of the structure and to use a software for the analysis of the foundations. Finally, using a normal distribution with the data collected from the programs used, a percentage increase factor to be used on the bending moment for the uniaxial design was determined.
