dc.description.abstractIn the Osoyacu parish, in the Sevilla de Oro canton, the landslides on the banks of the Paute river have evolved into a macro landslide due to geographical, climatic and high humidity factors. The resistance of the floor is linked to moisture, it will come off slipping. The project seeks to reduce this through a drainage system of 6.48 km of canals to evacuate water from 1.87 km2 to streams and avoid swampy areas and landslides. The design uses equations and models such as Chen Lung Cheng, trapezoidal and rectangular sections with transition structures and energy dissipation. The estimated cost of the project is $6,000,000 for construction.
