RESUMEN
El presente artículo pretende describir la incidencia del discurso Narrativo en la mejora de la producción escrita en estudiantes de cuarto año básico, sabiendo que en Chile la escritura se considera una habilidad que requiere de ejercitación y es evaluada en mediciones Estandarizadas SIMCE desde sexto año básico. En primer lugar, se realiza una revisión exhaustiva de la literatura al respecto, pretendiendo delimitar las habilidades que deben ser desarrolladas para posteriormente detallar cuáles de ellas son claves y proponer una propuesta de acción educativa para alumnos (as) de cuarto año básico que estimule estas habilidades básicas para la expresión escrita. En este caso, se dará principal atención a la producción escrita, favoreciendo la construcción de textos narrativos con organización y coherencia de ideas, sin dejar de atender la habilidad de la comprensión lectora.

ABSTRACT
This article intends to describe the relevance in the Narrative speach in the improvement of fourth grade students' written production, knowing that in Chile writing is a skill that requires exercising and it is evaluated in standardized testing (SIMCE), since sixth grade. In first instance there is an exhaustive review of the mentioned literature, in terms of delimit the skills that are in need of developmentin order to determine which of those are key and propose an educative action for fourth grade students that stimulate these basic written expression skills. In such case, the attention will be given to writing production, favoring the construction of narrative texts with organization and coherence of ideas without disregarding the reading comprehension skill.
