| dc.description | Se presenta un estudio exploratorio sobre la rigurosidad de las investigaciones doctorales cubanas en Ciencias Pedagógicas, presentadas en el periodo 2000-2010. A través de una muestra representativa de tesis doctorales, seleccionada mediante una adaptación del muestreo probabilístico estratificado, se realizaron inferencias estadísticas a la población objeto de estudio, para lo cual se empleó una escala de Likert con cinco niveles de respuesta. Se pudo concluir que el comportamiento medio de la variable operativa «rigurosidad de los resultados investigativos de las tesis de doctorado en Ciencias Pedagógicas» se localiza en el nivel cualitativo «desfavorable» y que el intervalo de confianza al 95% brinda evidencias sobre la presencia latente de rasgos «muy desfavorables». Complementariamente se aplicó una entrevista a especialistas para profundizar en los resultados obtenidos, corroborándose los mismos.PALABRAS CLAVE: investigación; pedagógica; rigurosidad; validez; confiabilidad.AN EXPLORATORY STUDY ON THE RIGOROUSNESS OF THE CUBAN DOCTORAL RESEARCHES IN PEDAGOGICAL SCIENCESABSTRACTWe present an exploratory study on the rigorousness of the Cuban doctoral researches in Pedagogical Sciences carried out in the period 2000-2010. Through a representative sample of doctoral theses, selected by an adaptation of the stratified random sampling, statistical inferences were made to the population under study, for which we used a Likert scale with five levels of response. We concluded that the average behavior of the operational variable «rigorousness of the research results of the doctoral thesis of Pedagogical Sciences» is located at the qualitative level «unfavorable» and that the confidence interval of 95% provides evidence of the latent presence of traits «very unfavorable».
