dc.descriptionNutrition and health are factors that go hand in hand and contribute to a good daily performance of the population, an optimal nutritional status will be achieved through adequate intake of macronutrients and this will be reflected in the weight and height of the patient and was measured in our study using the BMI formula. This study aimed to determine the relationship between nutritional status by anthropometry in adult patients treated in rural areas. A descriptive documentary study was carried out, through the search updated bibliography. The target population was 330 adult patients treated in medical brigades in the rural cantons of Salitre, Durán and Milagro.en-US
dc.descriptionLa nutrición y la salud son factores que van de la mano y contribuyen a un buen desempeño diario de la población, un estado nutricional optimo se logrará mediante la ingesta adecuada de macronutrientes y este se verá reflejado en el peso y talla del paciente y se midió en nuestro estudio mediante la fórmula de IMC. Este estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre el estado nutricional por antropometría en pacientes adultos atendidos en zonas rurales. Se realizó un estudio documental descriptivo, mediante la búsqueda bibliográfica actualizada. La población objetivo fueron 330 pacientes adultos atendidos en brigadas médicas de cantones rurales de Salitre, Durán y Milagro.es-ES
