dc.descriptionThis research analyzes the reciprocal relationship of the variables, gross domestic product, and external debt of Ecuador during the last five years, throughout the Pearson correlation coefficient. It serves to measure these quantitative variables. According to the results, there is a high positive correlation between the variables. Also, both seem to be directly related to the external debt and being depends on the gross domestic product. the strong relationship between the variables indicates that the economy of the country that produces markets goods and services is not enough to cover its debts and therefore, alleviate external indebtedness.en-US
dc.descriptionEl presente estudio busca analizar la relación recíproca que tienen las variables, producto interno bruto y deuda externa del Ecuador durante los últimos cinco años, mediante el coeficiente de correlación de Pearson que sirve para medir variables cuantitativas. Se ha encontrado una correlación alta positiva entre las variables, ambas están directamente relacionadas la deuda externa depende del producto interno bruto; Una alta relación entre las variables indica que la economía del país que produce, comercializa bienes y/o servicios no son suficientes para pagar sus deudas y por ende recurren al endeudamiento externo.es-ES
