| dc.description | The research had as its theme: Quality of life and functional abilities of an elderly patient. | dc.description | La investigación tuvo como tema: Calidad de vida y capacidades funcionales de una paciente adulto mayor , Con el estudio del fenómeno investigado se logró determinar que, si existe un grado de afectación negativa en las áreas psicológicas, físicas y sociales, producida particularmente por la depresión consecuencia del deterioro de su capacidad física y al declive de la autoestima, el bienestar de las personas comprende la satisfacción personal que tenga el individuo en el desempeño de las actividades cotidianas.
Los instrumentos utilizados en la investigación, Cuestionario Sevilla de Calidad de Vida, Test de Actividades Instrumentales de la Vida Diaria y la Escala de depresión geriátrica cumplieron a cabalidad con sus propósitos, coadyuvando en el diagnóstico del trastorno que estaba padeciendo el paciente así como las pautas clínicas a seguir para el proceso de intervención terapéutico, así, la investigación tuvo el alcance propuesto en los objetivos, se logró una definición sobre que el significado de la calidad de vida y la importancia de esta desenvolvimiento funcional, a más se propuso como meta adicional que la paciente conceptúe un sentido de vida | |
