dc.descriptionEste trabalho tem como objetivo avaliar as ferramentas Algebrax, Graphmath, Gnuplot, Limits, Derivative e Maple V, sob o ponto de vista do ensino, partindo do pressuposto que eles auxiliam no aprendizado de disciplinas matemáticas de terceiro grau e possibilitam para professor e aluno a sua aplicação aos conceitos matemáticos. O resultado atingido com o trabalho foi a construção de uma metodologia para avaliar software no ensino de calculo. Essa metodologia pode ser estendida para outras disciplinas matemáticas, bastando para isso que os mesmos critérios usados sejam adaptados ao conteúdo dessas disciplinas. A partir daí, faz-se uma avaliação dos sistemas selecionados e, por consequência, do use desta tecnologia voltada ao ensino.
dc.descriptionThe goal of this work is to analyze the software Algebrax, Graphmath, Gnuplot, Limits, Derivative, and Maple V, from the teaching point of view, since these software could help in the mathematical learnin g process during undergraduate studies. It is wellknown that these tools represent a valuable aid to the application of mathematical concepts by teachers and students. The contribution of this work is the definition of an evaluation methodology of software tools in calculus teachin g. This methodology can be extended to other math disciplines by adapting the same criteria to contents of these discipline. Selected software are evaluated as well as the usage of techlogies in the teaching process.
