dc.descriptionNutritional intervention is essential to contribute to improving people's quality of life. The present case is a 20-year-old female patient with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, who comes to the medical consultation with a family member for presenting bleeding in the oral cavity after extraction of a molar, weight and hair loss, with a history of non-post-traumatic hematomas and difficult healing. The anthropometric, biochemical, clinical and dietary nutritional evaluation is carried out, where it presents an estimated weight of 40kg with a height of 152 cm and a body mass index of 17.3 kg / m2, within the biochemical examinations it presents alteration of the indicators of creatinine 4.2, ANA by IFI 1.80, and hemoglobin of 8.7. The objective of the case study is to improve the nutritional status, where it intervenes with the prescription of diet 1600 kilocalories fractionated in 5 meal times. As a conclusion after the follow-up, control and monitoring of the nutritional intervention the patient with systemic lupus erythematosus has a positive effect on the nutritional status, weight gain is observed in 3 months with a considerable increase according to body mass index, the biochemical values of creatinine and ANA by total IFI in addition to the improved vital signs.

El presente caso se trata de un paciente de sexo femenino de 20 años de edad con Lupus Erimatoso Sistémico, que acude a la consulta médica con familiar por presentar sangrado en cavidad bucal posterior a extracción de un molar, pérdida de peso y cabello, con antecedentes de hematomas no postraumáticos y difícil cicatrización. Se realiza la evaluación nutricional antropométrica, bioquímica, clínica y dietética, donde presenta un peso estimado de 40kg con una talla de 152 cm y un índice de masa corporal de 17.3 kg/m2, dentro de los exámenes bioquímicos presenta alteración de los indicadores de creatinina 4.2, ANA por IFI 1.80, y hemoglobina de 8,7. El objetivo de estudio del caso es mejorar el estado nutricional, donde se interviene con la prescripción de dieta 1600 kilocalorías fraccionada en 5 tiempos de comida. Como conclusión luego del seguimiento, control y monitoreo de la intervención nutricional el paciente con lupus Erimatoso sistémico tiene un efecto positivo en el estado Nutricional, se observa ganancia de peso en 3 meses con un aumento considerable de acuerdo índice de masa corporal. Los Valores bioquímicos de creatinina y ANA por IFI totales además de los signos vitales mejorados.
