| dc.description | This case study analyzes the tourism management of the Autonomous Decentralized Government of Vinces Canton, through a qualitative research approach. This case study included documentary research of secondary sources, generated by entities related to the activity of the Canton. Additionally, an interview was conducted with the director of the Tourism Department of the Municipal GAD of Vinces, to obtain a more detailed understanding of tourism management in the Canton, contrasting it with the findings of the documentary research. In this way, the main problems of tourism planning in Vinces, along with the investment made in tourism in the Vinces locality, will be identified.
The research also includes a SWOT analysis, where the main strengths, opportunities, weaknesses, and threats faced by the Municipal GAD in the tourism field can be identified. Therefore, the main objective of this work is to analyze the tourism management of the Municipal GAD of Vinces Canton in order to find alternative solutions that allow for the growth of tourism in the Canton, conducting an analysis on the tourism management carried out by the city's GAD.

| dc.description | El presente estudio de caso analiza la gestión turística del Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado del Cantón Vinces, a través de un enfoque de investigación cualitativo. Este estudio de caso incluyó una investigación documental de fuentes secundarias, generadas por organismos relacionados a la actividad del cantón. Además, se aplicó una entrevista a la directora del Departamento de Turismo del GAD Municipal de Vinces, para conocer de forma más detallada, como es la gestión turistica en el cantón, contrastándola con lo encontrado en la investigación documental. De esta manera se identificará los principales problemas de la planificación turística en Vinces, junto con la inversión realizada en turismo en la localidad vinceña.
En el desarrollo de la investigación se incluye también un análisis FODA, donde se puede conocer las principales fortalezas, oportunidades, debilidades y amenazas que Atraviesa el GAD Municipal en el ámbito turístico. Por eso, este trabajo tiene como objetivo principal, analizar como es la gestión turistica del GAD municipal del cantón Vinces con la finalidad de encontrar alternativas de solución que permitan el crecimiento del turismo en el cantón, realizando un análisis sobre la gestión turística que realiza el GAD de la ciudad. De la misma manera planteando las recomendaciones, como alternativa de solución a la problemática. | |
