| dc.description | The present case study was carried out with the objective of indicating how recurrent depressive disorder affects a 50-year-old patient with catastrophic illness, providing a timely solution and thus improving the quality of life. | dc.description | El presente estudio de caso se ejecutó con el objetivo de indicar como el trastorno depresivo recurrente afecta en un paciente de 50 años con enfermedad catastrófica, brindarle una solución oportuna y así mejor la calidad de vida. Esto se ve reflejado en el uso de técnicas e instrumentos utilizados como: Observación directa, entrevista clínica y pruebas psicométricas las cuales constataron que el paciente después de las discusiones constantes con su hijo adquirido el trastorno depresivo recurrente, además el paciente presento relevantes síntomas para llegar al diagnóstico del trastorno depresivo recurrente, como el desinterés del hijo hacia su tratamiento, por motivos económicos, así mismo la falta de compañía ya que sus tratamientos lo dejan sin fuerzas. Por otra parte, manifestó constantes ataques depresivos, y por esto se brinda un plan psicoterapéutico desde el enfoque cognitivo conductual, estableciéndose metas y actividades acorde a los síntomas y problemáticas de su situación actual, esto ayudo al paciente con un pronóstico totalmente favorable para su adecuado bienestar integral. | |
