dc.descriptionThe agricultural sector is made up of a set of activities that through their productive development contribute to the economic rise of a territory. For these reasons, this article's main objective is to analyze the contribution of the agricultural sector to the economic growth of the Tosagua-Ecuador canton, during the period 2010-2020, using a descriptive, evaluative and correlational methodology, based on secondary information sources that allow the collection of data and information to fulfill the stated objective. The results of this research show that the agricultural sector of Tosagua presents a very low correlation and significance to determine a correlation between variables. It is concluded that, despite not presenting a correlation between variables as such, the agricultural sector of Tosagua is a sector of great relevance for the economy of this canton, since in addition to contributing mostly to its total economy, it is a sector that generates economic and social stability to the direct or indirect actors of this sector.  en-US
dc.descriptionEl sector agropecuario está conformado por un conjunto de activades que a través de su desarrollo productivo aportan al ascenso económico de un territorio. Por lo expuesto, el presente articulo tiene como objetivo fundamental el analizar el aporte del sector agropecuario al crecimiento económico del cantón Tosagua-Ecuador, durante el periodo 2010-2020, empleando una metodología descriptiva, evaluativa y correlacional, basada en fuentes de información secundarias que permita la recopilación de datos e información para cumplimiento del objetivo expuesto. Los resultados de esta investigación exponen que el sector agropecuario de Tosagua presenta una correlación y significancia muy baja para determinar una correlación entre variables. Se concluye que, a pesar de no presentar una correlación entre variables como tal, el sector agropecuario de Tosagua es un sector de gran relevancia para la economía de este cantón, ya que además de aportar mayormente a su economía total, es un sector que genera estabilidad económica y social a los actores directos o indirectos de este sector.  es-ES
