| dc.description | Urinary infection is considered the most frequent pathology associated with pregnancy that causes abortions and also threatens premature labor, among its most common presentations are cystitis, pyelonephritis and asymptomatic bacteriuria, the objective of the present investigation was to analyze the prevalence of urinary tract infections and their relationship with preterm birth, which reflects appropriate information from several studies on the prevalence of some types of bacteria obtained through medical records, here it is evident that few pregnant women suffer from a complication of infection and not of various. The methodology used was a documentary design, of a descriptive and exploratory type, based on bibliographic and narrative reviews of scientific journals such as: articles published within the years 2017-2023 in the Redalyc, Scielo, Elsevier, PubMed databases. The results show that the countries with the highest prevalence rate in the last 7 years were Peru, Mexico, Ecuador and Cuba. In the same way, it was concluded that the threat of abortion prevailed among pregnant women with a diagnosis of infection caused by the urinary tract, also E. coli, among other enterobacteria and Gram-positive cocci present less frequently. | en-US |
| dc.description | La infección urinaria se considera la patología más frecuente asociada al embarazo que origina abortos y además amenaza de parto prematuro, entre sus presentaciones más comunes se hallan la cistitis, pielonefritis y la bacteriuria asintomática, el objetivo de la presente investigación fue analizar la prevalencia de las infecciones de vías urinarias y su relación con parto prematuro, donde se refleja información idónea de varios estudios de prevalencia de algunos tipos de bacterias obtenidos mediante las historias clínicas, aquí se evidencia que son pocas las mujeres embarazadas que sufren de una complicación de infección y no de varias. La metodología empleada fue un diseño documental, de tipo descriptivo y exploratorio, basada en revisiones bibliográficas y narrativas de revistas científicas tales como: artículos publicados dentro de los años 2017-2023 en las bases de datos Redalyc, Scielo, Elsevier, PubMed. Los resultados demuestran que los países coa mayor tasa de prevalencia en los últimos 7 años fueron Perú, México, Ecuador y Cuba. De igual manera se llegó a la conclusión que prevaleció la amenaza de aborto entre gestantes con diagnóstico de la infección causadas por vías urinarias, también la E. coli, entre otras enterobacterias y cocos Gram positivos presentes en menor frecuencia. | es-ES |
