dc.descriptionThe purpose of this investigative work was to propose didactic strategies to strengthen the reading of stories in children of initial II of the Azuay Educational Unit N. 13 of the Portoviejo Canton, Ecuador. The methodology corresponds to the mixed approach, and the research design is descriptive. The data collection techniques were the survey and observation; For the survey, the instrument used was the questionnaire and with respect to the observation, an observation sheet was prepared. From the observation, qualitative data is extracted, while the survey usually provides quantitative data. The population consisted of the three (3) teachers and sixty (60) children of the initial level II. To obtain the results of the investigation, the questionnaire was applied to the three (3) teachers and the observation sheet to the sixty (60) children. The questionnaire was analyzed through a specialized software, and allowed to know the perception of the teachers about the implementation of the didactic strategies to strengthen the reading of stories in the children and the observation sheet allowed to observe in the children their behavior and skill in reading stories. The results made it possible to provide teachers with a didactic strategy to strengthen the reading of stories in children of initial II.en-US
dc.descriptionEste trabajo investigativo tuvo como propósito proponer estrategias didácticas para el fortalecimiento de la lectura de cuentos en los niños de inicial II de la Unidad Educativa Azuay N. 13 del Cantón Portoviejo, Ecuador. La metodología corresponde al enfoque mixto, y el diseño de investigación es de tipo descriptiva. Las técnicas de recolección de datos fueron la encuesta y la observación; para la encuesta el instrumento utilizado fue el cuestionario y con respecto a la observación se elaboró una ficha de observación. A partir de la observación, se extraer datos cualitativos, mientras que la encuesta suele proporcionar datos cuantitativos. La población estuvo conformada por los tres (3) docentes y sesenta (60) niños del nivel de inicial II. Para obtener los resultados de la investigación se aplicó el cuestionario a los tres (3) docentes y la ficha de observación a los sesenta (60) niños. El cuestionario se analizó a través de un software especializado, y permitió conocer la percepción de los docentes sobre la implementación de las estrategias didácticas para fortalecer la lectura de cuentos en los niños y la ficha de observación permitió observar en los niños su comportamiento y destreza en la lectura de cuentos. Los resultados permitieron dotar a los docentes de estrategia didácticas para fortalecer la lectura de cuentos en los niños de inicial II.  es-ES
