dc.descriptionThe objective of this research is to examine how technology is used in the teaching and learning of language and literature by second-year basic students at the Juan Montalvo Educational Unit in the canton of Portoviejo, province of Manabí in the years academics 2020-2022. In the XXI century, technological tools have permeated almost all aspects of daily life and education is no exception. To achieve the aforementioned objective, a sample of 2 teachers and 30 students was used, the results made it possible to determine that the infrastructure lacks the necessary materials to implement ICT, and that students rarely interact with it. With the implementation of the proposal proposed by the researcher, it was possible to determine that students have the ability to read, speak and write when they use educational apps, specifically Cokitos educational games.en-US
dc.description  El objeto de la presente investigación es el de analizar la utilización de la tecnología en la enseñanza y aprendizaje de la asignatura de Lengua y la Literatura por parte de los estudiantes de segundo año de básica en la Unidad Educativa Juan Montalvo del cantón Portoviejo, provincia de Manabí en el periodo comprendido entre el 2020 al 2022. Para ello, se utilizó una muestra de 2 docentes y 30 estudiantes, los resultados permitieron determinar que la infraestructura de la escuela carece de los equipos y materiales necesarios para implementar las TIC en el desarrollo de la asignatura, por lo que los estudiantes rara vez interactúan con ella. Con la puesta en marcha de la propuesta planteada por la investigadora se logró determinar que los estudiantes tienen facilidades de leer, hablar y escribir cuando utilizan las apps educativas específicamente Cokitos juegos educativos.es-ES
