dc.descriptionThe objective of this study was to identify ergonomic and psychosocial risk factors that affect the work performance of workers in the poultry balancing industry. An exploratory and descriptive field investigation was carried out through the application of hypothetical-inductive methods and Laboratoire d'Economie et Sociologia du Travail (L.E.S.T.) for the evaluation of the working, ergonomic and psychosocial conditions of the workers. As techniques, the survey and dosimetric monitoring, lighting and particulate material were applied to the various existing work areas in the company. As a result, it was determined that the ergonomic risks that most affected the workers were fixed postures for a prolonged period of time, such as: excessive maintenance of the upright position, prolonged squatting posture, inadequate flexion of the spine due to sack lifting, maintenance and infrastructure soldier, raising hands above the shoulder/neck, excessive maintenance of the sitting position, especially when working with a display of data (PVD) for several hours. Likewise, it was found that workers are exposed to decibels outside the permissible limit, to the absorption of particulate material that can affect the respiratory tract, in addition, poor lighting that can generate incidents or accidents at work. Although there have been no cases yet in which the aforementioned factors have caused a decrease in the work performance and health of the professional, there is a latent risk of physical and mental fatigue that could reduce their performance in the medium and long term.en-US
dc.descriptionEl objetivo de este estudio fue identificar factores de riesgos ergonómicos y psicosociales que afectan el desempeño laboral de los trabajadores de la industria de balaceado avícola. Se realizó una investigación de campo, exploratoria y descriptiva mediante la aplicación de métodos hipotético-inductivo y Laboratoire d’Economie et Sociologia du Travail (L.E.S.T.) para la evaluación de las condiciones laborales, ergonómicas y psicosociales de los trabajadores. Como técnicas se aplicó la encuesta y monitoreos dosimétricos, iluminación y material particulado a las diversas áreas de trabajos existentes en la empresa. Como resultados, se determinó que los riesgos ergonómicos que más afectan a los trabajadores fueron las posturas fijas por un periodo de tiempo prologado como: mantenimiento excesivo de la posición erguida, postura prolongada en cuclillas, flexión inadecuada de la columna por levantamiento de saco, mantenimiento y soldado de infraestructura, elevación de manos por encima de hombro/cuello, mantenimiento excesivo de la posición sentada, especialmente cuando se trabaja con pantalla de visualización de datos (PVD) por varias horas. Así mismo se pudo constatar que los trabajadores están expuestos a decibeles fuera del límite permisible, a la absorción de material particulado que puede afectar las vías respiratorias, además, la deficiente iluminación que puede generar incidentes o accidentes laborales. Si bien, aun no se han registrado casos en los que los factores mencionados hayan ocasionados disminución en el desempeño laboral y la salud del profesional, existe un riesgo latente de fatiga física y mental que sí podrían mermar su rendimiento a mediano y largo plazo.es-ES
