| dc.description | The family is the most important stage for the harmonious development of adolescents, an issue of great relevance in today's changing society. For the family to fulfill the functions attributed to it historically and socially, it requires proper functioning, which has been associated with the development of specific qualities and behaviors in adolescents. The present study aims to analyze the current state of knowledge about family functioning and its effects on adolescence. To this end, a systematic review of original articles in Spanish was developed in the period 2017-2022, based on the PRISMA methodology, published in the Dialnet, ScieLo, Scopus, Redalyc, OpenAIRE and OJS/PKP databases. To do this, we drew up a search strategy with descriptors and inclusion and exclusion criteria to screen the sample and select the most relevant studies, to which the STROBE guide was applied to assess the risk of bias. For the analysis of the information obtained, the mixed methodology was used. We selected 16 studies that were grouped by thematic lines and identified the variables associated with family functioning of greater significance. It is concluded that family functioning is an essential element, which has a proven effect as a protector and as a risk for the integral development of adolescents. | en-US |
| dc.description | La familia es el escenario más importante para el desarrollo armónico de los adolescentes, cuestión de gran relevancia en la cambiante sociedad actual. Para que la familia cumpla las funciones que se le atribuyen histórica y socialmente, requiere un adecuado funcionamiento, el que se ha asociado con el desarrollo de cualidades y comportamientos específicos en los adolescentes. El presente estudio tiene por objetivo analizar el estado actual del conocimiento en torno al funcionamiento familiar y sus efectos en la adolescencia. Para ello se desarrolló una revisión sistemática de artículos originales en idioma español, en el periodo de 2017-2022, basada en la metodología PRISMA, publicados en las bases de datos Dialnet, ScieLo, Scopus, Redalyc, OpenAIRE y OJS/PKP. Para ello se trazó una estrategia de búsqueda con descriptores y criterios de inclusión y exclusión para cribar la muestra y seleccionar los estudios más relevantes, a los que se les aplicó la guía STROBE para evaluar el riesgo de sesgo. Para el análisis de la información obtenida se empleó la metodología mixta. Quedaron seleccionados 16 estudios que se agruparon por líneas temáticas y se identificaron las variables asociadas al funcionamiento familiar de mayor significación. Se concluye que el funcionamiento familiar es un elemento esencial, que tiene un efecto comprobado como protector y como riesgo para el desarrollo integral de los adolescentes. | es-ES |
