dc.descriptionDengue is an epidemic and endemic viral malaise, it is transferred by mosquitoes of theAedes genus, until now it is producing an arbovirus worldwide in terms of morbidity,mortality and financial impact. The objective and purpose of this research work is to supportplatelet quantification and clinical manifestations in patients diagnosed with dengue virusduring its acute phase. This investigative work was carried out under the modality ofbibliographic review. The methodology applied was descriptive, it has a documentary designand a type of informative study. Within the inclusion criteria, updated data on Dengue wereused through web portals with a publication date of the last 5 years (2017-2022). The mainclinical manifestations present in patients diagnosed with dengue virus were fever, headache,myalgia, skin rashes, abdominal pain and retro ocular pain. The patient infected with dengueis showing a low level of platelets signifying thrombocytopenia. Among the most used testsfor the diagnosis of dengue is the rapid NS1 test, followed by the rapid IgM test. dc.descriptionEl Dengue es un malestar vírico epidémico y endémico, es trasferido por mosquitos delgénero Aedes, hasta la actualidad va produciendo una arbovirosis a nivel mundial en términosde morbilidad, mortandad e impacto financiero. El objetivo y propósito del presente trabajoinvestigativo es el de fundamentar la cuantificación plaquetaria y manifestaciones clínicas enpacientes diagnosticados con el virus dengue durante su fase aguda. Este trabajo investigativose realizó bajo la modalidad de revisión bibliográfica. La metodología aplicada fue de tipodescriptiva, cuenta con un diseño documental y un tipo de estudio informativo. Dentro de loscriterios de inclusión se utilizaron datos actualizados sobre el Dengue a través de portalesweb con fecha de publicación de los últimos 5 años (2017-2022). Las principalesmanifestaciones clínicas presentes en pacientes diagnosticados con el virus dengue fueronfiebre, cefalea, mialgias, erupciones cutáneas, dolor abdominal y retro ocular. El pacienteinfectado con dengue se encuentra evidenciando un nivel bajo de plaquetas significandotrombocitopenia. Entre las pruebas más utilizadas para el diagnóstico del dengue se encuentrala prueba rápida NS1, seguida de prueba rápida IgM. Diversas investigaciones handemostrado la relación entre los pacientes diagnosticados de dengue en su fase aguda y seasocian entre ellos.es-ES
