dc.descriptionThe research paper’s purpose was to analyze the role of families in the emotional developmentof children during adolescence. For this, the methodological framework was based on thepositivist paradigm, using field research, with a quantitative approach, under the stadistical andinductive-deductive method, in which a population of 65 families from the El VergelCommunity, located in the Chone canton, Manabí, Ecuador, from which 25 families wererandomly selected, to which the survey technique was applied through the questionnaire ofLikert-type questions. The results reveal that the roles and functions performed by each familymember promote adequate adolescent emotional development. In conclusion, the role of thefamily is crucial for the emotional development of adolescents, since values, attitudes, self-esteem are learned, which contribute to the development of emotions.en-US
dc.descriptionEl objetivo de este artículo fue analizar el papel de las familias en el desarrollo emocional delos hijos durante la etapa de la adolescencia. Para ello, el marco metodológico se basó en elparadigma positivista, empleando la investigación de campo, con enfoque cuantitativo, bajo elmétodo estadístico e inductivo-deductivo, en el cual, se escogió una población de 65 familiasde la Comunidad El Vergel, ubicado en el cantón Chone, Manabí, Ecuador, de la cual seseleccionó aleatoriamente a 25 familias, a las cuales, se aplicó la técnica de la encuesta pormedio del cuestionario de preguntas de tipo Likert. Los resultados obtenidos develan que losroles y funciones que desempeñan cada integrante propicia un adecuado desarrollo emocional adolescente. Se concluye que, el papel de la familia es crucial para el desarrollo emocional de los adolescentes, dado que, se aprenden valores, actitudes, autoestima, que coadyuvan al desarrollo de las emocioneses-ES
